I have the honor to enclose a copy of a letter

dated September 30, 1926, and its enclosures, from the Government of the Philippine Islands, making inquiry in regard to sanitary conditions in Hong Kong, with particular reference to the shipment of hams from Hong Kong to the Philippine Islands.

I will be grateful for your comments on the

matter in question.
